Bishop Bernard N. Bragg, the College of Bishops, and the saints of the Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc. thank you for visiting our web site. We pray God's richest blessings upon you as you peruse the site and read about God's faithfulness in this Zion.
Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc. is a continuum of the move of God that sprung forth through the obedience of Apostle William H. Seymour at the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California in 1906. A world-wide movement originated from Apostle Seymour's obedience to the voice of God. As the years passed, many organizations emerged, namely the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith (COOLJC), and the Highway Churches of Christ, Inc.
In 1988, a new mandate from God instructed Bishop Robert Evans, Jr. to organize the Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc. (BCOC). Under Bishop Evans' leadership, the Beth-El Churches experienced consistent growth through the birthing and planting of new churches throughout the United States.
In October 2001, after the passing of our Establishmentarian and First Apostle, Bishop Bernard N. Bragg was elected the new Presiding Bishop of the Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc.
